BAILEY Album Release Celebration

Analog at Hutton Hotel

About Bailey
Born in Memphis, TN and raised on the sounds of Beale Street, Bailey is sunshine and a voice soaked in honey. Inspired by her fathers love of 70’s music, Barry White, and Smooth Jazz she began singing at the age of six under the guidance of the late and great vocal coach and musician Bob Westbrook (Britney Spears, N’Sync, Lucy Hale).
After attending Berklee College of Music in Boston, Bailey moved back home where she would hone her skills as a writer working with the best in the industry. She would go on to sell out shows from NYC through the Mid-South. From Rockwood Music Hall in NY to The Vatican in Rome, she has performed all over the world; however, selling out B.B. Kings on her beloved Beale Street is probably her favorite performance to date.

ABOUT MOLLY TUTTLE

Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway—her brand new band of bluegrass virtuosos featuring mandolinist Dominick Leslie, banjoist Kyle Tuttle, fiddle player Bronwyn Keith-Hynes, and bassist Shelby Means—will tour the United States in 2022 in support of Tuttle’s forthcoming Nonesuch Records debut.

An award-winning guitarist and songwriter, native Californian Molly Tuttle continues to push her songwriting in new directions and transcend musical boundaries. Since moving to Nashville in 2015, she has worked with many of her peers and heroes in the Americana, folk, and bluegrass communities, winning Instrumentalist of the Year at the 2018 Americana Music Awards. Tuttle’s 2019 debut album, When You’re Ready, received critical acclaim, with NPR Music praising its “handsomely crafted melodies that gently insinuate themselves into the memory,” and the Wall Street Journal lauding Tuttle’s “genre-boundary-crossing comfort and emotional preparedness,” calling the record an “invigorating, mature and attention-grabbing first album.”

Tuttle’s accolades also include Folk Alliance International’s honor for Song of the Year for “You Didn’t Call My Name,” from her 2017 Rise EP, and consecutive trophies for the International Bluegrass Music Association’s Guitar Player of the Year; she was the first woman in the history of the IBMA to win that honor.

During the pandemic, Tuttle recorded a covers album, …but i’d rather be with you, which was released in August 2020. The record, which features guest vocals from Dawes’ Taylor Goldsmith and Old Crow Medicine Show’s Ketch Secor, includes songs by musicians ranging from FKA Twigs to Cat Stevens, Rancid to Karen Dalton, and The National to The Rolling Stones. The New Yorker’s Jay Ruttenberg, in praising her rendition of the Stones’ “She’s a Rainbow,” says: “In Tuttle’s reading, the song uses a bluegrass spirit to look to the past—and a feminist allegiance to peek at the future.”

Celebrate Valentine’s Day in Music City’s finest listening room with Nashville based artist, Molly Tuttle, currently nominated in this year’s GRAMMYs for BEST NEW ARTIST. Join us for an exclusive live TV taping.

Southern Rounds

Analog at Hutton Hotel

Country Music’s top songwriters live from Analog at The Hutton Hotel!

Brent Cobb & Adam Hood bring the heat on the Southern Rounds stage with a Grammy nomination and writing credits for Country music’s biggest stars, including Luke Bryan, Little Big Town, Kenny Chesney, Miranda Lambert & more. Brent and Adam will join host Dave Kennedy onstage along with Special Guests. Don’t miss this incredible line up, only on Southern Rounds.

Brent Cobb is a talented songwriter, artist and producer. As an artist, Cobb has four studio albums and one EP under his belt. His album “Shine on Rainy Day” peaked at #17 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums and garnered a Grammy nod for Best Americana Album. That album put him on stages across the country and landed him a supporting spot on Chris Stapleton’s All-American Road Show Tour. As a songwriter, Cobb boasts cuts by Country superstars Luke Bryan, Little Big Town, Eli Young Band, Kenny Chesney, Miranda Lambert and more. Learn more about Cobb here: https://www.brentcobbmusic.com/ [brentcobbmusic.com]

For more than a decade, Adam Hood has left his mark both onstage and in the writing room, carving out a southern sound that mixes equal parts country, soul and American roots music. With cuts by Little Big Town, Miranda Lambert, Anderson East, Josh Abbott Band, Lee Ann Womack & Brent Cobb, Hood has a deep catalog sure to keep audiences leaned in. His debut album Somewhere In Between reflected Hood’s working-class roots, mixing the upbeat thrill of his roadhouse roots-rock songs with the contemporary, stripped-down sway of his country ballads. After 2 years and a list of heavy-hitting collaborators such as Charlie Starr & Brit Turner, Adam Wakefield, Brent Cobb and Miranda Lambert, Hood successfully follows with Bad Days Better, an album where he meets struggle with positivity. Learn more about Adam Hood here: https://www.adamhood.com/ [adamhood.com]

Dave Kennedy is a storyteller above all else, and it’s easy to see why. His songs paint a cinematic portrait of America as his characters journey through love, heartbreak, humor, sin, redemption, revenge and perhaps even a few of the songwriter’s own footsteps along the way. Bringing these songs to life is a voice so soaring and powerful you can’t help but be swept away into his world by the end of the first chorus. He navigates his way through each story and each world with a dynamic presence of both strength and subtlety that appreciates both the peaks and the valleys, the highways and the backroads, the loves lost and lingering in his mind. It’s for all these reasons that Dave has a reputation as one of Nashville’s most respected songwriters and artists, and why artists like Travis Tritt, Riley Green, Whiskey Myers, Drake White, Larry Fleet and others are eager to continue writing and performing with Dave Kennedy. Leyla McCalla

Analog at Hutton Hotel

ABOUT LEYLA MCCALLA

Leyla McCalla finds inspiration from her past and present, whether it is her Haitian heritage or her adopted home of New Orleans, she — a bilingual multi-instrumentalist, and alumna of Grammy award-winning African-American string band, the Carolina Chocolate Drops — has risen to produce a distinctive sound that reflects the union of her roots and experience. McCalla’s music is at once earthy, elegant, soulful and witty — it vibrates with three centuries of history, yet also feels strikingly fresh, distinctive and contemporary, sonically blending New Orleans influences and Haitian rhythms, with lyrics sung in English, French and Haitian Creole. McCalla’s widely-acclaimed collaborative project, Songs of Our Native Daughters (Rhiannon Giddens, Amythyst Kiah, Leyla McCalla, and Allison Russell), released via Smithsonian Folkways in 2019. The album pulled influence from past sources to create a reinvented slave narrative, confronting sanitized views about America’s history of slavery, racism, and misogyny from a powerful, modern Black female perspective.

The Gibson Brothers

Analog at Hutton Hotel

ABOUT THE GIBSON BROTHERS

Bluegrass royalty Leigh and Eric Gibson step into what some might at first see as uncharted territory on their country-soul breakout Mockingbird, the new album produced by Grammy Award winners Dan Auerbach and Fergie Ferguson. The celebrated bluegrass duo — named back-to-back Entertainers of the Year by the International Bluegrass Music Association in 2012 and 2013 — played the Nashville game two decades ago, while in their early 20s, and were offered a major label deal, only to be told at the last minute that they were too “retro” for modern country music. Today, such characterizations, along with their authenticity, set them apart and describes the marvelous Mockingbird.

A mix of country, soul and seventies rock, the album further cements the sibling duo as musical trailblazers. As players and vocalists, they are superb, harmonizing as only siblings can; as songwriters they stand without peer, having long been a band awarded for their songs and songwriting. The 11 tracks on Mockingbird, their 14th album, draw on much of the brothers’ experiences being raised on the family farm in Northern New York. As Northerners growing up in a Southern business, they had to work twice as hard as the bands from the South to achieve the success they had, and were the first from that far north to carve a path to IBMA Entertainers of the Year.

Industry Awards to his credit are Billboard Radio Personality of the Year (Small Market), Highest Rated Urban Station in America (KBCE, Alexandria), NAACP Image Award (South Carolina).

ABOUT AVERY SUNSHINE

Avery*Sunshine takes no detours in creating melodious music for the masses. She makes the kind of music that undeniably satisfies the soul. Her sound is uplifting, vibrant, and exactly as her namesake suggests, full of sunshine. She brings people together through her riveting stage performances, candid and often humorous stage banter, and optimistic anthems about love and life. Born Denise White in Chester, Pennsylvania, her roots are firmly grounded in the church. Avery, along with her Grammy award winning, creative life partner, Dana “BigDane” Johnson; the singer, pianist and composer has created a remarkable and unforgettable sound.

The Atlanta based singer’s no holds barred signature soulful R&B appeal has garnered praise from the iconic musical figure, The Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin, who raved, “I love Avery*Sunshine!” She has also received praiseworthy acclimation from luminaries such as Patti LaBelle, Berry Gordy and Boy George, who proclaimed on Twitter “@averysunshine love this woman’s voice.”

Most known for the #1 Billboard chart hit single “Call My Name” from her critically heralded sophomore project: The Sunroom, Avery and Dana were awarded ASCAP’s Rhythm and Soul Song of the Year Award. Amongst Avery’s award acknowledgements are nominations for both the Soul Train Award and BET Centric Award. From numerous sold-out shows and career milestones that include a UK tour opening for the late B.B. King, a performance on The Jools Holland Show and four Hot Adult R&B top 20 Billboard hits, as an endorsed artist with the Yamaha Entertainment family, she was invited multiple times to perform for and by the late Ms. Aretha Franklin.

Our current times have not escaped Avery’s heart or soul. During the spring and summer of 2020, Avery, Dana and their youngest son performed several free “LIVE FROM THE CRIB” shows for several hundred thousand people helping to uplift spirits during the pandemic. Additionally, as part of Avery’s recognition of much of 2020’s global concerns, she debuted the single “How Will You Remember Me” in June giving respect to those who fell victim to the pandemic and also to honor their loved ones as simultaneously the country was dealing with racial and social injustice. Avery continues to set herself apart as not just an artist, but a person who is filled with compassion and one who is aware of her own human frailty.

Avery’s determination to keep shining bright led her to successfully create and launch her own makeup line LOU*MACK BEAUTY in late 2020. She and her husband also developed the “HEY SUNSHINE SHOW”, her own performance platform producing monthly live shows to share with her fans from the comfort of her own home.

Whether Avery is onstage in Asia, Africa, Australia, the UK or even on the virtual stage from her living room sofa with a tiny keyboard and her family, she is always striving to fill the space that she was created to fill. She prays that the small space that she occupies in this world reminds everyone to shine as brightly as they can – no matter what.

Chris Ruediger & Friends

Analog at Hutton Hotel

ABOUT CHRIS RUEDIGER

Chris Ruediger may be from just outside of Boston, but his signature country sound has scored big all the way from New England to Nashville. As a kid, his musical influences ranged from Bruce Springsteen to Tim McGraw. When he started training on the piano and moved into acoustic guitar, Chris fell hard in love with country music.

His other love was sports – a love that almost pushed music out of the way to become a career path. As an avid baseball and soccer player (who was being scouted for college soccer teams), Chris’s fate was decided when his father signed him up for an open mic night. He got up and sang and loved it…and there was no looking back.

Chris was soon playing small shows at restaurants and bars, garnering a devoted local following. It didn’t take long for him to start hitting a new type of home run: New England radio stations 101.7 The Bull and Country 102.5 began playing his songs. Chris packed his bags and headed for Nashville, where he attended Vanderbilt University and soaked up the sounds and culture of Music City.

There, he got to work writing and recording songs in his modern pop-country style (influenced by everyone from Jordan Davis and Sam Hunt to Gavin Degraw). Working with Nashville producers Frank Legeay and Eric Torres, he released “Kissing Me Back,” an emotional breakup song hailed for its deeply honest storytelling.

Chris also started performing at notable Nashville venues such as The Cowan, The Listening Room, and Marathon Music Works. In February of 2020, he made his debut showcasing at Whiskey Jam, followed by a sold-out show at the High Watt. Shortly thereafter, the COVID pandemic shut down live touring for Chris and all of his fellow artists.

Jaimee Harris ‘Boomerang Town’ Album Release Show

Analog at Hutton Hotel

ABOUT JAMIEE HARRIS’ BOOMERANG TOWN

Jaimee Harris’s sophomore effort Boomerang Town marks a bold step forward for this country-folk-leaning singer-songwriter. It is an arresting, ambitious song-cycle that explores the generational arc of family, the stranglehold of addiction, and the fragile ties that bind us together as Americans.

Harris began cultivating Boomerang Town in 2016, a time of great loss for many in the Americana community, with the songwriter losing several musicians close to her. A shift in the nation’s political landscape had ushered in a new level of cultural polarization and for someone who grew up in a small town outside of Waco, Texas, Harris believed the values instilled by her parents were not entirely in line with how many were viewing, and vilifying, Christians. As a person in recovery, Harris has had to re-evaluate her own connection to faith and find strength in a higher power. It was from the intersection of these social, personal, and political currents that the album was born.

While themes of addiction and grief permeate sections of the record, it echoes hope in the face of the darkness. Out February 17th, Boomerang Town understands that love and grief are two sides of the same coin.

Eauclaire

Analog at Hutton Hotel

ABOUT EAU CLAIRE

Eauclaire is about family.

What started as a group of midwest friends who simply wanted to write music that they loved has become a band of brothers, husbands, fathers, and true artists.

From their 2019 debut record “Ocean Bleu” to their 2022 sophomore release “Timber” they have continued to create music that evokes visceral imagery in sonic landscapes and transports listeners to places that we’ve all been before. Through mountaintop moments and valleys of deep sorrow their music is a introspective view of the human condition that we all have to summit in our lifetime.

From oceanside journal entries to family writing retreats in the mountains of east TN and northern AL, the band operates as a family unit – wives and kids in tow – to bring true experiences to their music and leave listeners with a deep sense of hope that there is light on the other side of their current darkness.

The live show is a truly unique experience that reminds us how important it is to create moments together, in community, with our friends and family and not attempt to do life on our own.

Their Nashville show will be nothing short of unforgettable and they’ll be sharing the stage with local friends and artists, GARDENLIKE and Amber Ais.

GARDENLIKE is a project by Jesse and Alta Keller meant for soul nourishing – head lifting – deep oxygen breathing – easy listening – peace carrying – shadow illuminating – hope restoring – continuous meditating – atmosphere shifting. It is their prayer that you find yourself experiencing all of the above, on repeat.

Amber Ais is a singer/songwriter born and raised in Boston, MA. Ais became passionate about music at a very young age and in grade school she would often be seen writing songs during recess. In the fall of 2014, Amber Ais began her studies as a songwriting major at Berklee College of Music. There she became serious about pursuing a career as an independent artist. Currently Amber Ais is pursuing her musical career full time and hopes to continue to release music that speaks to the hearts of people and wishes to collaborate with other artists to further her artistry.
