Analog Blues with Blues on the Half Shell

Analog at Hutton Hotel

ABOUT SHANNON MCNALLY

Thom Jurek at All Music said it best, “Only Gram Parsons’ term “Cosmic American Music” begins to touch her mercurial, changeling roots aesthetic, … McNally is a Zen-like, post-Beat song poet”. For those who have followed McNally’s nearly twenty year career the thing that most sticks with the listener about her, is the timeless effortlessness that she brings to all she does. With a long catalog and longer list of peers with whom she has written, recorded and toured, McNally continues to turn out great music that defies blatant genre-fication.

ABOUT GARRY BURNSIDE

Garry Burnside is a Hill Country blues artist and the youngest son of the late legendary blues singer R.L. Burnside. The Holly Springs native grew up playing music with his father and late blues musician Junior Kimbrough. The gifted guitarist also plays his own brand of blues that he likes to call “Funk Hill Country.”

Julie Williams EP Release

Analog at Hutton Hotel

ABOUT JULIE WILLIAMS

CMT Next Women of Country Julie Williams is turning heads in Nashville’s country music scene with songs that tell the stories she wished to hear as a mixed race child. A regular host of The Song Suffragettes, Julie was named in Rissi Palmer’s Color Me Country Class of 2021, featured on She Wolf Radio’s Ones 2 Watch list and her single Southern Curls was covered by Billboard, CMT, PBS NewsHour, and numerous music publications. Having opened for acts such as Will Hoge and Mt. Joy, Julie tours with the Black Opry Revue, a showcase of Black artists in country, blues, folk, and Americana music. Julie took the stage with the group at CMA Fest in Nashville in June 2022 and followed this performance with her first solo tour that brought Julie and her songs across the country and globe – with performances in London, Nashville, and across the East Coast. After her Americana Fest debut at the Country Music Hall of Fame, Julie hit the road again over the fall with a mix of Black Opry and solo performances across the Midwest, West Coast, and Northeast. Julie released a new single, “Wrong Mr. Right” on February 10 that captures the hurt of a long-term partnership ending, through her poignant lyricism and vulnerable vocal performance. Julie is releasing an EP in June followed by a coast-to-coast tour this summer.

Rebecca Loebe + LORE

Analog at Hutton Hotel

ABOUT REBECCA LOEBE

As one DJ puts it, Rebecca Loebe “has an almost supernatural ability to get the crowd singing along.” Over the past decade, the Austin-based singer-songwriter has taken her fans along for the ride, touring nonstop across the United States, Canada, Japan, Europe, and the UK. If you love lyric driven, full-throated modern troubadours like Brandi Carlile, Jason Isbell, and Phoebe Bridgers, then Rebecca Loebe is a must-listen.

After she performed her own arrangement of Nirvana’s ‘Come As You Are’ on the first season of NBC’s The Voice, Adam Levine and Christina Aguilera fought for the chance to work with her. Adam professed, “I just love listening to you sing.” Loebe’s original songs have also earned recognition from critics, fans, and songwriting competitions around the world.

When she’s not on tour, you can find her snuggling her puppy Lola, watering her vegetable garden, curled up with a good book, or in her home studio where she recently recorded an acoustic covers album called Secondhand Songs, which is available for free on her website.

For the rest of the year she’ll be performing a limited number of shows across the US, Europe, and the UK on The Back 40 Tour – a celebration of growing up with your heart on your sleeve. Each show will feature a unique setlist comprised of award-winning original songs, surprising covers, quirky humor, and engrossing stories about a life on the road.

ABOUT LORE

Laura Reed and Laur Joamets are Lore, a genre-bending Nashville duo mixing elements of metal, grunge, blues, and rock into raw, electric Americana anthems. Pairing Reed’s gruff, bluesy alto wail with Joamets’s effortlessly agile guitar, Lore’s satisfying fusion feels completely attuned to the current moment: part smooth sailing, part careening chaos.

South African native Reed started songwriting as a street musician, later collaborating with funk icons George Clinton and Karl Denson before launching her solo career. In 2019 while recording a solo project at Sputnik Sound, she met Joamets, a classically trained Estonian guitarist who’d toured with Sturgill Simpson and Drivin N Cryin and was recording an instrumental record. The pair formed a natural partnership based on a shared love for roots, blues, and gritty rock’n’roll. By 2020, they’d combined their separate projects into one.

Lore’s soulful mid-tempo debut single “Surrender” premiered on Rolling Stone in October 2020, followed by the buoyant, anarchic “Gifts of Destruction and Disorder” in December. In October 2021 they released “I Walk Alone,” a driving, intimate track evoking the rough-but-delicate sound of Karen Dalton, and in November dropped “Woven,” a bracing psychedelic-grunge tune with howling vocals and revolving guitar riffs. Lore’s debut album, co-produced by the band with Vance Powell (Jack White, Chris Stapleton) and Dave Schools (Widespread Panic, Hard Working Americans), released November 2022.

Southern Rounds delivers topline hit songwriters each month at Analog and this show makes no exception. On the Southern Rounds stage will be Kristian Bush (Sugarland) performing hits and new songs alongside Wil Nance and Sonia Leigh, who have penned hits for George Strait, Brad Paisley, Rascal Flatts, Zac Brown Band and many more. The #1s, the awards, and the millions of records sold shine a spotlight on these incredible songs—and the stories behind these hits make the songs the main act on Southern Rounds.

KRISTIAN BUSH
Kristian Bush is a MULTI-PLATINUM-selling, two-time GRAMMY Award winner most known for being half of the record-breaking Country duo Sugarland. The Sevierville, TN native launched his professional music career in 1994 with the Folk-Rock duo Billy Pilgrim. Within the decade, Kristian moved on to form Sugarland with Jennifer Nettles. The pair who released debut single “Baby Girl” in 2004, went on to chart five No. 1 hits and 12 Top 10 songs. His “Southern Gravity” solo debut in 2015 produced Top 20 hit “Trailer Hitch.” Kristian made a foray into television theme songs in 2016 with “Forever Now (Say Yes),” which he penned and performed for TLC’s popular show “Say Yes to the Dress.”
The multi-instrumentalist is also a founding member of Rock Jam band Dark Water alongside his brother Brandon Bush and esteemed guitarist Benji Shanks. In addition, Kristian co-wrote a song for the Atlanta staging of Stephen Schwartz’s “Working: A Musical” and has written three musicals. “Troubadour” (2017) and “Darlin’ Cory” (2021) opened at Atlanta’s Alliance Theatre, and “Me Before You.” While Kristian has stayed active on the music scene, the projects that have been released represent a small portion of the songs he’s written over the years. His latest creative adventure “52” is a 52-song four-album collection of his favorite tracks that have been tucked away in his back catalog. He divided the songs into four albums following the themes of a country R&B, summer, rock and life, which are available now. “52’s first volume ATL x BNA begins with two songs about death – and this last volume ends with a New Year’s resolution to spend more time with your people – no matter who they are, including yourself,” Kristian says. “My wish is that listeners will start to connect different songs in different ways as if it was their job to collect these songs into their own individual albums.” For more info on Kristian, check out his website: https://kristianbush.com [kristianbush.com]

Noah Guthrie

Analog at Hutton Hotel

ABOUT NOAH GUTHRIE

Music has been at the forefront of Noah’s life for as long as he can remember. With his family’s musical roots running deep, Guthrie’s dream was always to be an artist and musician, but he didn’t realize he could make it a reality until he started posting videos online. At that point, he knew he had the opportunity to turn his dream into a career.

Although his musical journey as an artist has been exciting and fulfilling thus far, he has dreams that his original music will continue to be heard and embraced around the world. While he’s received national attention for his creative YouTube covers, including posting a blues-filled version of LMFAO’s “Sexy and I Know It,” which has received more than 26 million views, and his pivotal role as Roderick Meeks on FOX’s hit TV show, “Glee,” it’s clear to see that Noah’s real talent shines through putting pen to paper and crafting original music. While he was able to showcase his unscripted musical talents with his semi-finals run on season 13 of NBC’s “America’s Got Talent,” he is committed to giving his fans original music and being the authentic singer-songwriter that he’s always wanted to be.

With a sound described as an Americana/Alt Country blend that is similar to Chris Stapleton’s country/rock tracks, the unique soulfulness in his richly textured voice and the unmistakable Southern influence in his music makes him capable of conveying an emotion that only a handful of artists can in today’s musical landscape. Noah’s versatility and distinct voice is evident in each song. Noah isn’t trying to box himself into any specific genre; for him, it’s just about making good, honest music – music that sounds like him.

To date, Noah has built a strong following through social media and television and released two critically-acclaimed albums. He has also performed on NBC’s Today Show and Tonight Show, Hallmark Channel’s Home & Family, and ABC’s Dancing with the Stars. Noah has opened for a wide variety of artists, including Ed Sheeran, Ben Rector, Corey Smith, Sister Hazel, Matt Nathanson, and Dwight Yoakam. Noah and his band, Good Trouble, were recently featured performers on Rock Boat XVIII with Sister Hazel, Barenaked Ladies, needtobreathe, Drew Holcomb, and others. With career highlights like opening up for Willie Nelson on multiple occasions and touring Europe five times, it’s just a matter of time before the world sees what Noah will accomplish next. With new music on the horizon, an energetic band by his side, a loyal fanbase behind him, the sky’s the limit for Noah Guthrie.

Analog at Hutton Hotel

Country Music’s top songwriters live from Analog at The Hutton Hotel!

Dave Kennedy is a storyteller above all else, and it’s easy to see why. His songs paint a cinematic portrait of America as his characters journey through love, heartbreak, humor, sin, redemption, revenge and perhaps even a few of the songwriter’s own footsteps along the way. Bringing these songs to life is a voice so soaring and powerful you can’t help but be swept away into his world by the end of the first chorus. He navigates his way through each story and each world with a dynamic presence of both strength and subtlety that appreciates both the peaks and the valleys, the highways and the backroads, the loves lost and lingering in his mind.
